FOX Anthropology Lecturers Wanted
The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley (Menasha, WI) is searching for Anthropology lecturers to teach the courses listed below in the fall and/or spring. That is, specific teaching assignments will be dependent on qualifications and interest, with the possibility of an academic year appointment. Some courses are taught face-to-face while others will be delivered via distance education modes. In general, lecturers prepare course syllabi, teach course/s, and hold office hours for students. Master's degree in anthropology or related field is required; Ph.D. preferred.
Base salary is determined by Rank (Associate Lecturer, Lecturer, Senior Lecturer) and by overall level of appointment in the UW Colleges. Rank is determined by degree attained and university teaching experience and is determined at the time of hire in consultation with the department chair. The per-credit rate for lab courses such as ANT 105-41 will be slightly higher due to more in-class time per week.

Lecturers are unclassified instructional academic staff. Academic staff appointees meeting requirements for participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System are eligible for sick leave benefits as described in the UW System Unclassified Personnel Guidelines #10. Dates of Employment
The fall semester contract dates are 8/25/2014 to 1/8/2015.
Dates of an academic year appointment would be 8/25/2014 to 5/24/2015.
