UW-Fox Valley is one of thirteen freshman/sophomore campuses of the University of Wisconsin Colleges. Since our academic program focuses on the general education requirements necessary for any bachelor’s degree, it is possible to begin virtually any university or pre-professional major at UW-Fox Valley.

Admissions
Basic requirements for admission as a new freshman: high school diploma with 17 academic credits: English (4 cr.), Math (3 cr. – including 1 cr. of algebra and 1 cr. of geometry), Natural Science (3 cr.), Social Science (3 cr.), and 4 cr. Electives. GED/HSED accepted. Class rank: upper 75%. Persons not meeting the listed requirements should contact the Assistant Director of Student Services.
Application may be made using the standard UW System Application for Admission or, preferably, by electronic application at:https://www.apply.Wisconsin.edu or at the UWFox website.
Testing
ACT or SAT I required for entering freshman – ACT preferred. TOEFL is required for international students. English and math placement tests are required prior to registration.
Enrollment
In Fall 2007 UWFox enrolled 1706 students. The student/faculty (classroom) ratio is approximately 25:1; the median class size is 30.
Campus Visit
Organized group visits and tours are offered on Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 p.m. by appointment. Individual campus visits (no tour) are available on Monday evenings from 3:30 to 7 p.m. by appointment.

Financial Aid
Apply for federal and state financial aid programs via the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Forms are available in high schools, from UWFox Student Services, and by electronic application at: www.fafsa.ed.gov Application should be made as soon as possible after January 1. Financial assistance is available in the form of grants, loans, and college work-study.
Scholarships
At UW Fox Valley, the faculty and staff are committed to recognizing and rewarding high academic achievement. Scholarships are sponsored through the University of Wisconsin – Fox Valley Foundation, Inc. Scholarship award amounts vary from partial to full tuition, and some awards are renewable for up to two years. The deadline for scholarship applications is February 15.
